Scrambler 1100 Range Revealed by Ducati in EICMA 2017

Finally, the Scrambler 1100 range of Ducati motorbikes has been revealed at the EICMA 2017. This bike is going to be available in three variants: Standard, Special and Sport.

The Scrambler top model now has a bigger engine, a ton of new electronics and the bodywork is different as well but the design is similar to its younger siblings. To style the vehicle up a little bit, Ducati has added aluminum finish on most of its body parts.

With a 1079cc L-Twin engine, the vehicle puts out 86bhp at about 7500rpm. The maximum torque from this vehicle is about 88.4Nm at 4750rpm. The gearbox has six speed transmission and a slipper clutch is also supported. The bike now hosts a ton of electronics as well. There are three riding modes and a traction control system as well. The vehicle now comes with active mode, touring mode and city mode. Ducati has also added an IMU (inertial measurement unit) which allows the bike to have cornering ABS as well.

The price of the Scrambler 1100 isn’t disclosed yet but it is expected to be really expensive than its younger sibling due to the electronics, the engine and the brand new chassis. For those who are wondering whether the brand new Scrambler 1100 would come to India or not, it is.
